Fairies

This rather stiff B&W fairy was actually the first fairy I ever painted. I keep her up for sentimental reasons. ;)
Alright, so maybe she looks like a hippie ... but this is my Springtime Fairy.
Summer: This fairy was mainly inspired by the colors of sunflowers against a deep blue prairie sky.
Another season - personally my favorite: Autumn.
The first of my try at Four Seasons: Winter.
Empathy ... kind of a hard fairy to explain. She's an emotion, not so much a being - if you take my meaning.
A fiery spirit who raises the sun into the heavens triumphantly ... just a fancy that struck me one day.
I painted a fairy raising the sun ... I had to bring balance to the universe again with a moon raiser.
Everybody paints a fairy sitting on a crescent moon ... I am no exception.
Suo Gan is a sweet, old Welsh lullaby, and the inspiration for this picture.
They may not look alike, but there's a connection between sisters that is undeniable.
Two friends play a peaceful serenade together under the stars.
