Belated for Halloween…
Well, alright, so I don’t actually celebrate Halloween. However, just about every year at this time I get an urge to make a mask of some sort for something different. This year I made a dragon…looks fancy, eh? Not really. It’s wonderful what you can do with paper, glue and nice craft paint.

Digging through my archives revealed yet another cartoon. The stars of this one happen to be my eldest pony, Rosie and a Collie named J.C. who often pops up in my cartoons. The odd thing about this episode is that it actually happened IRL. Rosie DID in fact eat a horsefly that was bugging her, and she seemed to enjoy it throughly…

Occasionally, I get the urge to draw a cartoon out of nowhere and generally when that happens the characters end up being animals… Thus the uninspired name “Animal Talk”. At any rate, I have no idea where this idea came from, but it hit me while eating supper the other night and I drew it. Hope it elicits at least a light chuckle from y’all.
Okay … So several days ago I found that publish button (which incidentally was not labeled as “publish”) and got myself back on track. I’ve added a Tri Loom & Sewing gallery as well as a Misc. Photography gallery. Again, I am late with the update and doubtless wouldn’t have bothered with it for a shamefully long time were it not for a friend who nudged me, saying: “You need to do another update to mention you found the Publish button” … So, thank you, Mike.
Aside from that, I am adding to the photography gallery as I go along and am currently adding sewing projects. Only a few, in truth, but the number shall hopefully grow in time.
Tah for now,
Sarah
Well … it certainly took me long enough to get back to posting. I realize it’s been a long(-ish) time since I mentioned any sort of an update to the site. Let me think back … I added an About the Artist page at some point, and also a great many pictures. I should have mentioned it sooner, but I tend to just work and leave it at that rather than explain what I’ve done.
At the moment, I am wrangling with the website to make a gallery of my tri loom projects … I just need to remember where the “Publish” button is located. When I do, there will be even more to look at - and I do hope you’ll enjoy what you see!
Ciao for now,
Sarah
Hullo and welcome to Areanel.com!
My name is Sarah Campbell and this is the online home of my art and craft work. I’m very glad you decided to stop by and hope you’ll enjoy yourself while looking around.
At the moment, you could say that we’re under construction and I’m just beginning to get things pulled together with the help of my best friend (You can find his website at PlainEnglishGeek.com) so there isn’t all that much to see right now. However, with a little bit of luck, there will be - so sit tight, and please come back soon!
Hey, I might even try this newfangled thing they call Blogging … is the world ready?
